This is Cremora's initial early version guide as released on the MyDU-Server-Questions channel on Discord. You can grab yourself a copy below.

This guide is for non-technical users wanting to run a MyDU Server for a small audience from their home Windows PC. Content is based off of the original NQ guide (here) and the help that has been provided by BearClaw (thank you!) and others within the Discord. This guide is for the Public Server Installation ONLY and does not contain information about Back Office server configurations or anything else.

The source-of-truth for elements in Dual Universe are stored in the postgresql database. These can be modified, added, and deleted through Backoffice. Adding a brand new element to dual universe involves a few steps. In this example I'll add a new "Freight Wing XS" element. Slightly heavier, but slightly more lift.

JimboAkimbo has set up a github repo with scripts they are creating for themselves as server admin. Both Linux and Windows versions are included. They added a way to add skins to players in the same way it did the title stuff to give some flexibility on this matter.

The initial release of the du-blueprint tool, which lets you generate blueprint files from object models. They tried to remove hard coded hacks and wrap a nice CLI around it. The models it generates are amazing. PRs are welcome to improve the voxelization.

This repository has been created to serve as a sharing and learning platform for the myDU community and the development of server modifications. You will find example code for various server mods that can be used to expand on myDU servers.

This installation guide uses a Linux virtual server to host the MyDU service publicly. I'm using free Cloudflare account and have purchased (as an example) example.com domain name from there. You need ability to manage your public DNS domain to create new A and CNAME records.

Wokka1 wrote a down a script to change ore in the pools by a factor, also, if you want to change 0's to something higher. This way, you keep your heatmaps, but just bump the numbers up, so if you want to do a 2x ore rate, or 20x ore rate, you can.
